We loves the 2 days/nights we spent at Nana apartments. Everyone in Zaròs was so friendly and welcoming, especially Dimitris, whose family run the apartments. From check-in to when we left he was thoughtful, caring and funny. His mother was lovely too. The rooms at Nana are extremely clean and comfy, and I loved the carefully tended potted plants everywhere (some interesting succulents).
Breakfast was fabulous - perfect dakos, heavenly yogurt and honey, eggs and other bits and bobs. Zaròs is a cute village with a good number of tavernas to choose from within easy walk of Dimitris' place. Highly recommended.

We had a very warm welcome from Dimitris and his family. The room was perfect for our stay, the breakfast just wonderful: Cretan produce of the highest quality. I highly recommend Nana Apartments if you're planning to stay in the area. It is a great location for walking tours.

The best place we have booked in crête. Dimitri is really a good Guy & is always available for you. Rooms & breakfast were perfect with fresh food & orange juice. Good restaurants in the village just few mètres from here.

The best place to stay in Zaros. The owners are so friendly and laid back. The bungalow was excellent and the breakfast superb. It is situated just above the center of Zaros and the view at breakfast is the best. This was our third stay at Nana apartments and hopefully not our last. We highly recommend staying here.

Highly recommended address for the kindness and availability of the owner and his family, the delicious breakfast and excellent location in the picturesque and peaceful village of Zaros. We have stayed there for three nights in July 2015 and will go back again in the future.

We have stayed twice at Nana's apartments. We stayed first in June 2010 and July 2012. We have been very happy with the accommodation and service. Nana is the kindest lady in Zaros who along with her son made our stay perfect. Make sure you eat at Irina's place called Vegera, it's absolutely the best in the village during the summertime.

We had a wonderful stay at Nana Apartments from 22-26 Sept 2014. Zaros is a mountain village and this is a family run establishment. Here you are guests, not a customer. Breakfast on the terrace is delightful and will carry you through until evening. You can easily entertain yourself in Zaros and surroundings for a few days. Much to see in the area (e.g. beaches like Matala, Rouvas Gorge, Phaistos, Botano, etc. ). Zaros is authentic.
